This tripod system is made for confined space entry and equipment retrieval. Made of lightweight aluminum by Unique Concepts Ltd., this equipment weighs only 50 pounds and can be set up by one man. The tripod head has three pulleys, so the winch can be installed on any leg. It will also accomodate a variety of blocks and winches. The legs are adjustable in 1.5” increments using nylon insert sliders for smooth operation. They are anchored at the bottom to prevent spreading and are locked into position at the head. The tripod head contains 3 additional anchor points.

The system complies with OSHA standards.

Also available: Other tripods, other winches. One available winch allows full operator freedom until a snap load is applied, when it locks (like most modern shoulder harnesses in cars). It also locks when the crank is turned.

The Pro-Man Digital Winch (shown) is main-rated for raising, lowering or supporting personnel. A digital counter monitors use. The load moves only when the handle is turned. A friction brake is engaged by a minimum of 10 lbs of weight.
