A
Top Level Inspection Vehicle
The picture shows the rear end of an inspection vehicle recently produced
by Sewer Depot. Inc. The truck interior has simulated wood-grain cabinetry
with locks, a fully armoured washable floor and sides and a metal
work surface. Because of our place in the industry, we could combine
Red Maxx cable,
Brutus
transporter, PTC360
Pan/Tilt camera, Sigma
controller and Pearpoint
flexidata data system, a combination that fit the customers
wish list in terms of performance and cost.
The system includes
ground fault protection throughout, a shore power switchover, and
a UPS system for the computer to maintain data in case the power
is interrupted. The power delivery system has been government inspected
and certified.
In the rear
is the PA system, extendable work light, a separate reel control
and a rear monitor.
There is no
monitor in the usual sense in the operators area. Instead,
the video image is presented on the users computer screen,
in conjunction with the Pearpoint
flexidata system screen capture facilities. This frees up more
rack space, and simplifies the operators job.
