Cable X - This gold cable has a claimed identical working and tensile strength. In reality, users have found that this is not the case! One of the video braids is unprotected and susceptible to water migration. A version of this cable has aircraft cable inside that has been known to 'hacksaw,' cut through and short circuit adjacent conductors! This cable only has 10 conductors where Red Maxx has 11.

Cable Y - This cable says that water doesn't invade and migrate. This cable is also heavier and stiffer than Red Maxx - which means more weight for your transporter to pull down the pipe, and more wear and tear on motors, clutches and reels. Red Maxx has the one piece extruded jacket around the coax to eliminate water damage. Red Maxx also has a larger video coax which gives you high signal strength.
